During an extensive sketching phase, we begin to analyse the basic shape of the Insignia tail light and to generate different design approaches.
Based on the design spectrum from the sketching process, we filtered out three basic design directions as underlying themes for the further detailing process and, together with Aspöck Systems, decided in favour of the „frame“ concept.
Defining the main shape of the tail light with a light-emitting profile creates a bright frame. This reflects the core theme of the design.
